Recently Methane Clouds found on Mars could indicate never before seen volcanic vents or Microbes under the surface of the red planet. This is what NASA scientist said on Thursday, 15, 2009. Scientists are still unsure of whether this was a reaction between rock and ice or if it was given off by microbes.The regions in which the clouds are most concentrated show chemical signs of exposure to water, so ancient methane could be stored in ices below the surface of Mars.
"The evidence we have here is for an active process," says NASA Mars science chief Michael Meyers. "We don't know if these plumes are biological or geological."
In my opinion i dont really know whether there is life on Mars or it's just Volcanic Vents, but whatever it is it's pretty cool.
