Ibn `Abbaas (radiyallaahu `anhumaa) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) said to Mu`aadh ibn Jabal (radiyallaahu `anhu), when sending him to Yemen:

“You are going to a people from the People of the Book. Let the first thing that you call them to be the testimony that none deserves to be worshipped except Allaah [and in another narration: to Tauheed]. If they obey you in that, then inform them that Allaah has obligated upon them five prayers every day and night. If they obey you in that, then inform them that Allaah had obligated upon them a charity that is to be taken from their wealthy and distributed to their poor. If they obey you in that, then beware of taking the best of their possessions (as Zakaah), and fear the supplication of the oppressed for there is no barrier between it and Allaah.”

We all know about the competition between Vista and Mac os x Leopard. Maybe Mac can get ahead of Microsoft even more by their new realese of Snow leoard. Snow leopard will be an upgrade to the users of OS Leopard. You're probably wondering.. What in the world is cloud computing? Well that's a good question. Well cluod computing is an internet based development that uses the power of the web. Cloud computing is a general concept that incorporates software as a service (SaaS), Web 2.0 and other recent, well-known technology trends, in which the common theme is reliance on the Internet for satisfying the computing needs of the users. For example, Google Apps provides common business applications online that are accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on the servers. A good example of cloud computing is the use of Google apps or Google Docs. If you have a gmail account then you have probably used Google Docs in which you have Documents Presentations and Spreadsheets. In my opinion cloud computing is a very cool concpet.

Microsoft Windows 7 is buzzing in everybody's head right now. People are really wondering is Windows 7 going to be better than Vista, Let's find out. Unlike Vista it is said to a very extreme upgrade to Vista. This is because normally on Vista if you have a camera, most probably it will not recognize it. On the other hand Windows 7 will be compatible with all types of devices or perphials. They have also changed some of the functinality of the Taskbar but also the look of it. Microsoft Promises that it will make Windows 7 a better experience than Vista, we are just going to have to wait and see. Microsft promises to realease Windows 7 either at the end of 2009 or beggining of 2010.

Microsoft's Next Operating System

Microsoft Corporation has announced that the Codename "Windows 7" will be used as the official name for it's next Operating System. Mike Nash the vice president of Windows Management said that the company is sticking to the name for simplicity, because it will be the seventh realese of Windows, and the name just "makes sense". After pointing out that Microsoft sometimes has stuck with the date (example Windows 95, 98, and 2000) he says it does not make sense to him. Some people argue that there have already been 7 Operating Systems of Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft did a poll to see which name to choose and her are the results:

Windows 2010: 20%, Windows 2009: 14%, Windows Vista R2: 7% AND Windows 7: 15%.
